For almost forty years, Bloom has been a meeting point for live music, independent culture and artistic experimentation.
Now, we've taken a crucial step in our history: we've bought the buildings that house Bloom and the former Bocciodromo Ponte.

With our crowdfunding campaign, Compriamo casa. Insieme. (Let's Make Bloom a Home), we want to make this investment sustainable and build the future of a place that remains free, open and independent — together with the community that has made it what it is.

Let's Make Bloom a Home

For almost 40 years, Bloom has been much more than a venue.
It's a space for freedom, experimentation and independent culture. A home for those who have never quite found their place elsewhere.

Now we've bought the buildings that house Bloom and the former Bocciodromo Ponte.
It's the biggest investment in Bloom's history, and we did it because we've chosen the future of this place.

Having a home means something simple: being able to carry on existing on our own terms.

It means continuity, stability and independence.
And the freedom to invest, grow and keep experimenting.

Next to Bloom, the former Bocciodromo will become a vibrant extension of the space: a place for training, workshops, events, food and coming together.
An open, accessible and ever-evolving space, ready to welcome new energy and new ideas.
This step is our commitment to staying, resisting and continuing to grow in our own unpredictable way — sviluppi incontrollati, as we've always said.

But buying the buildings is only the beginning.

To make this investment sustainable and turn these spaces into the future we imagine, we need our community.
The Bloom of tomorrow can become a truly collective choice.

This place exists thanks to the work and commitment of many people. In the beginning, they built it stone by stone. Today, we can lay the foundations for its next chapter together.

Why this home?

For almost forty years, Bloom has inhabited these spaces, filling them with concerts, workshops, gatherings, cinema, people and ideas.
We've transformed them into a place of freedom and experimentation, even though the buildings themselves never truly belonged to us.

Now, we've taken responsibility for caring for this place, planning its future and supporting the community that brings it to life — without depending on other people's decisions.

We've chosen to invest for the long term: to imagine new spaces, make them more accessible, more sustainable and more welcoming.
We're working to ensure that this place can continue to create and breathe independent culture for decades to come.
Buying the buildings is a major step towards that future. Now we want to make sure it's a future we can sustain together.

 How can you support us?

You can contribute to our campaign through Produzioni dal Basso. 
The crowdfunding site is Italian, and so is the official language of the different steps. You can decide on an automatic translation, or can contact us for help (coop@bloomnet.org).

Donations can be made using PayPal, bank trasfer or by card.

You can choose one of our rewards as a thank-you for your support, or simply make a donation of any amount without receiving a reward.
